We serve a full vegetarian breakfast which includes freshly laid eggs from our resident hens.

Our breakfast menu on any given morning may include any on of Lea's egg creations (herbs and vegetables from our garden), fruit juice smoothies, locally grown fresh fruit, blueberry or apricot scones, buttermilk biscuits, and pecan bran muffins.

We also include fresh breakfast served in our large farm kitchen and parlor on Great Aunt Regina's china. The silverware belonged to her sister, Great Aunt Amelia.
One of Lea's most - often asked for recipes:
Buttermilk Biscuits
Yields 24 2" heart biscuits

Sift together into a very large bowl:
4 cups of flour
2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. sugar
1tsp. baking sodaCut in: 10 Tbsp. butterLightly mix in: 1 1/2 cups buttermilk

Knead dough together and pat 1/2" thick.
Cut out biscuits with heart shaped cookie cutter.
Cut out biscuits until all dough is used.
Bake in top 1/3 of 450 degree oven for 10 - 12 minutes.
